girl dad!taiju who lets his toddler paint his nails. he's seated at her play table set, his body far too big for the little plastic chair beneath him. taijus large hands are placed in front of him on the surface, allowing his little girl to work her magic. despite that she's only 3, barely even dexterous and still learning basic hand-eye coordination, he indulges her and lets her do as she pleases.

he plays client as acts like a professional nail tech. chuckles at her enthusiasm while she paints and humors her, asking "ya' think mama's gonna be jealous of me now that my nails are better than hers?" while she giggles and nods. doesn't dare take off the polish, even though each nail is a different color and most of them don't go together. doesn’t care that some of it goes out of the boundaries of his nails, parts of his nails even bare. just goes to work as usual and if anyone comments on it, they're getting a glare as he ask them if they "got a problem with my daughters work?"

(don't tell her that after taiju tucks her in for bed, he's asking you to fix her messed up lines and clean up the area around his nails. makes sure you get the colors exactly the same because even if she doesn't notice the fact that the work is done differently, she will be notice if one color is a shade lighter)

Uta's Story

(Lock in its long)

Obviously we know that Uta is Shanks' daughter, but most tend to completely forget about her and replace her with Luffy.

It all started when Shanks found baby Uta in a chest full of treasure, from that point on she was his daughter and he obviously loved her so much.

When she was 9, her and Shanks met Luffy, a 7 yr old boy from Dawn Island, he kept pestering Shanks about joining his crew, the answer was always a no.

Uta and Luffy grew close, they definitely had a Big Sister little brother vibe going on.

Luffy was confused when one day Shanks showed up to the island without Uta, Shanks told him a really obvious lie about her wanting to leave the crew to become a singer.

What really happened was on the island of Elegia.

Uta had befriended the people of this island, though she found a piece of sheet music and started singing eventually leading to Tot Musica to be released destroying the island and its people.

After Shanks and the rest of the crew defeated Tot Musica they found out it was Uta that had released it, but she didn't know, how could she know this would happen?

So what did Shanks do?

Well I'll tell you.

He left her. He left her on that burning island making her believe he destroyed the Island and took all the treasure with him.

From that point on she hated pirates. She was taken into the care of Gordon, one of the only survivors of Elegia, he taught her how to sing and play instruments.

She grew older and wanted to show her music to the world, so one day when she found video transponder snails washed up on the beach she took that as her chance to show the world.

So she did just that. She sung for people, and they sent her messages back, she wanted to create a world where no one would feel suffering and pain and just lived in peace and harmony.

But she found a video transponder snail that showed what really happened to Elegia, she knew she was the one that did this.

She eventually set up a concert on Elegia (without telling Gordon about it) lots of people from around the world came, there was also a live feed. Now pay attention because her music is important to how she almost achieved her dream of a new world.

Even Luffy and his crew showed up (but she didn't recognize him until he came on stage and told her)

How she got her devil fruit is unknown, Uta ate the Uta Uta no Mi (ironic I know..)

In order to stay awake and full of energy she started eating a mushroom called 'wakeshrooms' keeping her awake for a certain amount of time. Though.....it does something if a user eats to many.

The user dies. Uta knew this. She knew this and still continued to eat them. That was part of her plan for a new world, she would sing, trapping everyone who came to the show and whoever was watching inside the Uta world.

....

If she dies..everyone inside the fake world would stay trapped there forever.

So naturally, the Marines heard of this and went to stop her and take her into custody.

Shanks, however, also heard of this and made his way to Elegia.

Uta was going to kill Luffy, in the fake world she ripped his strawhat and wanted him to forget about being a pirate and join her, he refused for obvious reasons.

Shanks was just in time to save Luffy from being stabbed.

She was angry, hurt, upset at Shanks, but he still insisted on helping her.

In the fake world however, she Unleased Tot Musica.

A second time, this time on purpose.

Tot Musica took over her body just like it did all those years ago. So Shanks and Luffys crews worked together, Strawhats helped in the fake world and Shanks helped in the real world.

Tot Musica was defeated, Usopp talked to Yassop, which is completely irrelevant but anyway..

Uta started singing to free everyone she had trapped, by the end......

She died.

Though this movie isn't canon Uta is still canon, but her death being canon has not been confirmed.

I just needed to talk about her because she is my favorite character and she's so mischaracterized, mostly by people who dont understand why she did what she did.

But let me know what you guys think of Uta!

ZACH: And in this scene it’s just her doing the right thing. ‘Cause she cares about [Jason] even though she says “I know we’ve never been tight.” She cares about Riggins even though they’ve broken up and she just knows this is a big deal what’s going on. MAE: She’s one of the only people who speaks to [Jason] sort of in a way that’s honest and direct and isn’t stroking her own fear or insecurity or distress in knowing how to communicate with [Jason]. She just is talking to [Jason] and is paying attention and listening and being present and I find it to be so striking because she’s sort of gets shit on the entire- by the entire town when in actuality we were saying watching it back I’m like “Wow, she’s gonna make it out and she’s gonna be able to do things she’s gonna be able to make something of her life.” SCOTT: Nowadays Tyras lead shows. Like nowadays that complicated female character who is honest to a fault and takes complete ownership of all of their stuff and dares you to call her on it because guys get away with shit for so long and women, especially on television, weren’t allowed to get away with shit, like that’s a lead character now. ZACH: But I think it’s interesting because on Friday Night Lights they’re writing for her and stuff early … And Tyra really is one of the bigger storylines at the beginning. SCOTT: Yeah. She’s using Smash, she’s dealing with her emotions for Riggins. She calls him out. She apologizes here for Riggins. She’s like “I’m sorry that he can’t be here for you.” And I say “That’s Riggins.” And she says “Yeah, don’t I know it.”

I was looking through my notes for Good Omens fanfiction, and realized almost every damn story includes Crowley having a baby.

There's the one where Heaven and Hell decide to use an angel baby carried by a demon as a diplomatic tool, leading into Crowley being protected by Michael, and them falling in love.

There's the one where she leaves her baby with Anathema and disappears, which triggers all the following events - from the search, to Aziraphale's trial, and everything else.

There's the one where she has to supply the new Antichrist, which leads to her and Lucifer falling in love, and her being crowned the Queen of Hell. (Well, this one is really two stories set in different timelines, in the second one the "baby" is like 27)

In the one inspired by a dream, she does have a baby eventually, but that's far from the worst thing that happens to her. Gabriel's treatment of her after is... How the Hell will I write this damn thing if I can't even think about it.

There's no baby in the one where she gets tortured with diluted holy water.

I see I have no storyline with male Crowley just yet... Fine, that's not true. I do have some thoughts for Crowley x Fem!Lucifer... It could include a new Antichrist, too. And, Crowley wouldn't be the pregnant one for once. But, dealing with pregnant Lucifer would probably be even scarier.

Thinking about the Holmes story where a blind girl goes to him and is like "My fiancé is missing and he kept telling me the week leading up to his disappearance that he would always love me and come back for me,were anything to happen so I think he knew he was in trouble and I love him so much and I'm going to wait for him but I'd like to find him faster,ya know?" And Holmes figures out that it was this girl's parents to scam her out of money she was owed from an estate which she gave to them because she was still living at home,which she wouldn't be if she ever married,so her step father PRETENDED TO DATE HER for MONTHS to keep her from ever getting engaged to a real person and when Holmes finds out he confronts this man and this man is like "Well,you caught me! But it wasn't illegal:) so:)" and Holmes is like "No,but it was sickening and cruel and if she had a brother or good male friend he should post you up and whip you but she doesn't." And the man is like "No,she doesn't." And does the Victorian version of sticking his tongue out and Holmes is like "Well,I guess I'll do then!" And HE PULLS OUT HIS HUNTING WHIP.
